✔ Filpino citizen na hindi pa nakakapagparehistro sa COMELEC
✔ Nasa edad 18 o pataas; nasa wastong edad na 18 na bago pa man mag May 9, 2022
✔ Isang taon o higit pang naninirahan sa Pilipinas para makaboto sa national election at anim na buwan o higit pang naninirahan sa siyudad o munisipalidad kung saan ka boboto
Kung check na check ka sa lahat ng mga nabanggit, ikaw ay eligible para maging registered voter sa bansa.
2. Kailan pwede magparehistro sa COMELEC?
✔ Patuloy pa rin ang registration mula September 1, 2020 hanggang September 30, 2021
✔ Suspended ang registration para sa mga lugar na nasa Enhanced Community Quarantine at Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine status; Itutuloy lang ulit ang registration kung ibababa na ang quarantine classification sa General Community Quarantine o Modified General Community Quarantine.
✔ Ang registration schedule ay tuwing Martes hanggang Sabado, 8 ng umaga hanggang 5 ng hapon, kasama ang holidays.
Wala ng dahilan upang hindi makapagrehistro. Extended pa ang voter’s registration hanggang alas-singko ng hapon mula sa dating alas-tres ng hapon, maging holiday, kasama na rin.
3. Saan pwede magparehistro?
✔ Maaari magparehistro sa iyong local COMELEC office; Kadalasan ito ay iyong siyudad o munisipalidad lamang
✔ Kinakailangan mo muna mag-book ng appointment sa www.irehistrocomelec.gov.ph para makakuha ng schedule sa iyong local COMELEC office
✔ Kung sakaling walang appointment system sa inyong COMELEC office, pumunta ng mas maaga sa registration office upang ma-accommodate; Nililimitahan lang ang bilang ng tao sa COMELEC office
I-download, sagutan at i-print na rin ang application form mula sa www.irehistrocomelec.gov.ph. Huwag maglalagay ng pirma at thumbmark sa nasabing form. Ito ay gagawin sa harap ng election officer.
4. Anu-ano ang iba pang requirements para magparehistro?
Bukod sa application form na na-download at nasagutan mula sa website ng COMELEC, kinakailangan mo rin ang mga sumusunod na requirements.
✔ (1) original at (1) photocopy ng Government issued valid ID gaya ng: Driver’s license, IBP ID, NBI clearance, Passport, Postal ID, PRC ID, PWD ID, School ID o library card para mga estudyante, Senior Citizen ID, SSS ID, GSIS ID, UMID, Certificate of Confirmation from the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP)
✔ Para sa mga mag-18 na taon pa lang bago ang araw ng eleksyon, kailangan magdala ng original at photocopy ng birth certificate
I-present lamang ang iyong valid ID kung saan nakasaad ang iyong current address. Kung iba ang address na nakasulat dito sa lugar kung saan ikaw ay nagpaparehistro, kinakailangan mo magpakita ng isa pang valid ID. Maaaaring ma-deny ang iyong application kung magkasalungat ang address sa ID at sa siyudad o munisipalidad ng iyong inaapplyan.
5. Paano magparehistro?
Bilang kumpleto mo na ang mga requirements gaya ng accomplished application forms, valid ID at photocopy nito at may nakatakdang schedule na ng appointment sa iyong COMELEC office, narito ang mga hakbang kung paano maproseso ang iyong pagrehistro.
Step 1: I-present ang voter’s registration requirements sa election officer na siyang magva-validate ng iyong identity, ID, address at voter’s registration status sa database ng ahensya
Step 2: I-submit ang application form sa designated officer na siyang magche-check kung lahat ay kumpletong nasagutan na
Step 3: Pumila kung saan nagpapakuha ng Biometrics. Ikaw ay kukuhanan ng litrato, finger prints at specimen signature
Step 4: Magregister sa kanilang logbook at hintayin ang i-issue na acknowledgement receipt.
Ang iyong application ay dadaan muna sa approval ng Election Registration Board (ERB) tuwing kanilang quarterly hearing. Matapos ang nasabing hearing, ang mga nasumiteng impormasyon ay marerecord na sa book of voters ng iyong syudad o munisipalidad.
Mahalaga na paglaanan ng oras ang pagrehistro upang makaboto sa darating na eleksyon. Isang beses niyo lang ito gagawin, ‘yan ay kung sisiguraduhin mo na iyong nasasagawa ang right to vote tuwing eleksyon. Dahil, sa oras na ikaw ay hindi makasipot nang dalawang beses sa botohan, babalik ka nanaman sa step 1 ng registration application process.
Mas pinadali pa ang proseso ngayon dahil mayroon ng www.irehistrocomelec.gov.ph kung saan pwede mo nang i-download at sagutan ang application forms. Kinakailangan mo na lang ito i-print at dalhin sa iyong appointment schedule. Mas maiksing oras na lang ang iyong gugugulin sa COMELEC registration office. Kaya, huwag sayangin ang pagkakataon upang makaboto. Maging parte sa pagpili ng mga susunod na leader ng bansa. Tandaan, ang bawat boto ay mahalaga.
